Showcasing footage from more than 80 locations around the state, MICHIGAN: An American Portrait highlights Michigan’s cultural diversity, natural beauty, entrepreneurial spirit, and innovative approach to business through breathtaking cinematography, compelling commentary, and historical archives. Produced by David Crouse and Chip Duncan, the film is airing nationwide on PBS stations.
Accompanying the documentary footage is an emotionally evocative score from Ann Arbor based celebrated composer David Barrett.
The one-hour film is a collaboration between Petoskey based Crouse Entertainment Group, Duncan Entertainment Group, Crooked Tree Arts Center, and WGVU Public Media–PBS Grand Rapids.
