    Description

In the middle of the world’s largest fresh water resource is the home of the Odawa at Waganakising (land of the crooked tree). Today, this area is known as Emmet County. The water defines Waganakising just as much as the land and has played a major role in the history of the Odawa. This talk will look at the many ways water has been and continues to be, critical for the Odawa.
