Discover the limitless fun of beginner drawing, or get a refresher on what you already know - each month offers a new theme! Curious about sketching or drawing? Or maybe you need to dust off your sketchbook? Richie Gunn's relaxed approach for beginners will give you the boost to enhance your daily practice or perhaps encourage you to start drawing regularly. Each month, Richie will highlight a new approach that will have you leaving inspired and motivated. You are encouraged to sign up in advance to reserve your spot in the class.

All materials included! If you already have drawing supplies, we encourage you to bring them so Richie can make suggestions to better utilize them.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Drop-ins welcome, but space is limited! Early registration is recommended. 
  • Children in Grades 3 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
  • We are unable to offer any refunds for this class.

Richie recently moved to Traverse City from Atlanta, Georgia. He enjoys rambling in the woods, snooping around stream beds, and searching for Petoskey stones with his family. Richie has a master’s degree in Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design where he also studied illustration, painting, and photography. He is a generalist, seeking to learn a little bit about everything and loves discussing art and the creative drive.
