Born and raised in Cebu City, Philippines, Richie comes from a deeply artistic family. With a background in architecture and teaching, his career has taken him across the globe—from Florida to Baltimore to Southeast Asia—before finding his true calling in watercolor painting. Now based in Austin, Texas, Richie travels the country competing in plein air events and teaching workshops that reflect his expressive style and cultural perspective.
