    Description

    1 session: Saturday, Jan 18, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

One workshop + two techniques = two scarves! Explore the techniques of mono transfers and coloration with bleed tissue to create two unique, colorful scarves. Silk ties, yarns, threads, burlap and more are laid out on a white silk scarf. The scarf is then steamed or immersed in vinegar water and colors from the materials transfer to the scarf. The possibilities are endless and no two are alike!

    • Materials fee required: Bring $15 payable to the instructor at class for materials. All materials are included.
    • Recommended: Please bring an apron or wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting stained - dyes are permanent!
    • There will be time for a half-hour lunch break. Limited space in the refrigerator is available if you bring a sack lunch.
    • No experience necessary.
