    Description

    Crooked Tree Arts Center is pleased to present Merry Marketplace, held indoors at our Traverse City location.

    Application opens July 25

    This year we are offering artists two options for participation, creating the opportunity for a month of holiday shopping.  Please read through for a description of the options. 

    Artists need to apply to be considered for one or all opportunities. Artists will have the opportunity to designate their interest for one or three options in the ZAPP application. Application does not guarantee selection to any of the options.

    Option #1 EXPANDED HOLIDAY GIFT GALLERY. We will feature a curated selection of handmade art in our expanded sales gallery November 8 - December 13, filling our Cornwell gallery with juried art ranging from $6-$100 in all mediums. Selected artists must drop off their artwork between October 28 - November 2. Artists are required to fill out an electronic inventory form prior to delivery. Instructions will be communicated at time of notification.

    Option #2 Merry Marketplace Pop-Up Art Market (artist booths) Saturday, November 22. Artists can apply to be a featured artist in the November 22 pop-up holiday art market from 10 AM - 3 PM in our Carnegie galleries.  CTAC-TC will be transformed into a holiday shopping market with artists' booths, a festive spread of cookies and coffee, holiday theme workshops in the lower classroom, holiday music and cheer! 

    Option #3 Merry Marketplace Pop-Up Art Market (artist booths) Saturday, December 6. Artists can apply to be a featured artist in the December 7 pop-up holiday art market from 10 AM - 4 PM in our Carnegie galleries.  CTAC-TC will be transformed into a holiday shopping market with artists' booths, a festive spread of cookies and coffee, holiday theme workshops in the lower classroom, holiday music and cheer! 

    Do you know an emerging artist? We will offer a limited number of emerging artist booths during the Pop Up Art Markets.

    All artists must apply through ZAPP.  Within the application you can select your interest in being considered for Options #1, #2 & #3.  Artist guild members can apply for free. If you need the AGM coupon code for ZAPP please contact Brian@crookedtree.org or call the front desk at 231-941-9488  We are unable to refund your application fee if you do not apply the coupon code.

    Application fee - $10 (non-refundable)

    Booth Fee -  $75 Standard Booth (Saturday only) 

    Expanded Sales Gallery sales will be processed with the traditional 60/40 commission split.
