Explore the incredible beauty of Alcohol Inks, an intensely vivid and fluid medium that practically paints itself! In this class, participants paint a delicate watery group of flowers, a large bursting bloom and a field of daisies. Learn about the different tools you can use, masking fluid and how to control and add detail when you wish. No previous experience required. Each class will include demonstrations, classroom time and coaching.

    All supplies provided.

Alcohol ink has been used for centuries by artists and designers, who love its smoothness and flexibility. The pigments in alcohol ink are more concentrated than regular paints, which means they have a longer shelf life. Alcohol ink is a water-based liquid pigment that's been made to adhere to paper, vellum, canvas, and other surfaces. It's unique in that it can be used on its own or mixed with other media (like paint).

Alcohol-based inks are a great choice for artists who want to create highly detailed works with high levels of color intensity. The variety of colors available and their ability to blend well make alcohol ink an ideal medium for artists who prefer working with small details and fine lines.
