A Michigan native, U.S. Army veteran, and graduate of the University of Michigan, Bill Millar holds a degree in dentistry and a Masters of Science in Orthodontics. In 1972, Bill moved to Petoskey and started his orthodontics career, which spanned over four decades. Soon after relocating, he discovered CTAC and began taking classes and attending concerts. Since then, Bill has served as President of CTAC’s Board of Directors and Chair of the Performing Arts Committee. He has also served on the Culinary and Visual Arts committees. Bill has a love for the performing arts - regularly volunteering as an usher and enjoying performances from his favorite front-row seat with his wife, Jane. He also spends time working in the CTAC Pottery Studio and loves helping hang new exhibitions with the Exhibition Team.
“I support CTAC because of the enjoyment I get from the programs I’m involved with, the staff and instructors that provide the programs, and the fellow members of the Arts Center. It’s a wonderful organization. And, while we are enjoying the Arts Center, we are providing a cultural center for the community.”
