Crooked Tree Arts Center – Traverse City invited Michigan artists to submit work for Highways and Byways, a juried exhibition exploring the roads we travel, both literal and metaphorical.
Whether it's the well-worn highway or the winding, lesser-known path, we’re seeking artwork that reflects your personal interpretation of highways and byways. Think of the byway as a circuitous path, a minor road or trail, a shortcut, or even a hidden detail; places and ideas that exist just outside the main route.
This theme invites exploration, reflection, and storytelling across all visual art forms.
This exhibit runs from September 9 - October 25, with an opening reception on Friday, September 12, from 5-7pm.
