Get ready for Crooked Tree Arts Center's annual Youth Art Show!
Beginning March 18th, the Gilbert and Bonfield Galleries will be covered floor to ceiling with thousands of unique works of art created by student artists working across the Char-Em ISD. This year, 30 school groups will be participating. See the list of participating schools below.
The exhibition will be on display March 18 - May 4, 2023. There will be an opening reception on March 18, 2023, from 11 am - 1 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Awards will be selected during the first month of the exhibition and announced at our award ceremony on Wednesday, April 19, from 7 - 8:30 pm. Award winning artists will be notified by their teacher one week prior to the ceremony.

Details for participating in the 2023 Youth Art Show are below.
This opportunity is open to young artists working throughout Char-Em ISD. Original works of art are showcased in CTAC's Gilbert and Bonfield Galleries. Participation is organized by the art teacher.

Artwork Delivery and Installation
Saturday, March 11, 2023, Monday March 13 - Friday, March 17, 10 am - 5 pm
Additional evening hours Thursday, March 16, 5 pm - 8 pm
Have all artwork labeled with Student Name, School, and Grade. Titles are optional.
There are no specific display requirements. Space allotted will depend on participation. Works will be pushpinned to the wall (painter's tape does not hold). Pushpins will be provided.
*We will have volunteers onsite when possible to assist you if needed. You may wish to bring your own step ladder and hammer.*
