Vibrant Matter: Engaging Energies, is part of The Art of Wellbeing public programming at Crooked Tree Arts Center - Petoskey this fall.
This exhibition features the works of several artists, including Renee Wasson Dillard, Loren Eiferman, Elizabeth Fergus-Jean, Jason Francisco, Dawson Moore, Shanna Robinson, Brian Schorn, and Katie St. Clair, that explore the idea that everything—both living and nonliving—is connected by energy and change.
Vibrant materialism is the idea that everything—people, animals, plants, and inanimate objects—has its own kind of energy and can affect the world around it. This way of thinking shows how everything is interconnected and reliant on our commitment to environmental stewardship, perspectives consistent with many traditional cultures.
