Hello, greetings! My name is Netawn Alice Kiogima and I am a proud member of the LTBB Odawa Tribe. I strive to live by our traditional lifeways and revitalize our beautiful language, the original sound of this land. I have 2 beautiful children and 3 amazing grandchildren.

I graduated from Central Michigan University with a BS in Teacher Education and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction. I have worked for my tribe as a language instructor since 2013 and became the director of the Gijigowi Anishinaabemowin Language Department in 2022. I have had the honor to work for my tribe and provide Anishinaabe cultural awareness for our shared community, Biidaasige (Petoskey). Miigwech (Thank You)
