Crooked Tree Arts Scholarship
CTAC is offering up to four $1,000 scholarships for graduating high school seniors who are:
- Michigan Residents
- Attending school in Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau counties
- Pursuing fields of study in the arts. This includes visual arts, performing arts, theatre, dance and music.
Crooked Tree Arts Center focuses on youth arts education through the CTAC School of Music, CTAC School of Ballet, Annual Youth Arts Festival, Annual Youth Arts Show, Annual Young Writers Expo, Docent School Tours, and a wide variety of classes and workshops throughout the year. Thousands of area students are engaged in the arts through their experiences with the arts center and this scholarship opportunity will foster a student’s next level of arts education.
The deadline for consideration is March 31, 2020. Please return your application to your high school guidance office. You may also mail your application directly to the arts center with a postmark date of March 31, 2020:

Scholarship applicants may be asked to come in for a personal interview with the Selection Committee. The Award recipients will be announced at their school’s appropriate Awards assembly and also at CTAC’s Youth Arts Awards Night on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 7 p.m., where they will receive special recognition. For recipients in the Grand Traverse Region, there will be a reception at CTAC’s Traverse City campus in April. Award recipients or a representative must attend CTAC’s Youth Arts Awards Night or the Traverse City reception in order to be eligible for this scholarship. Please note that family members of CTAC staff or CTAC’s Board of Directors are not eligible for this scholarship.
