Gelli plates are a versatile method of mono-printing without a press using a reusable soft printing plate. The flexible plate once inked, holds textures really well, it’s great for making prints from plants, leaves, stencils, found pbjects and more as detailed textures can be replicated easily into a design by simply pressing them into the ink on the plate. This is a great technique for creating papers to be used in art journaling, collage, cards and more.

In this class students will have the opportunity to try different acrylic paints, inks, stencils, texture tools to give you the opportunity to try before investing on your own.

Papers created in this workshop can be used in Amber's upcoming workshop:  Mixed Media Art Canvas- Inspired by Florals or in your art making practice.

This workshop is in person.  Masks are required.  Each student will work at their own 6ft table.
