Learn how to start and complete an acrylic painting, whether it is a still life or a landscape. We'll go over how to use acrylic paint, the merits of learning about values and how they impact the design of your finished piece, how to begin your painting, and how to add the finishing touches. This is a hands-on beginning class, and you will be working from either a still-life arrangement or a photograph that you provide. Sherry creates an environment that makes painting fun and comfortable, so that each student progresses at their own pace and feels comfortable with their personal artistic intention.

All supplies included.

Class Cancellations (Weather)
In the event of inclement weather or other emergency, CTAC-TC will announce the cancellation on its website and phone system (231-941-9488). Please note that CTAC-TC does not follow Traverse City Area Public School closings.

Student Absence
We are unable to offer refunds or make-up sessions for classes missed due to student absence.

Minimum Enrollment
Crooked Tree Arts Center reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet its minimum student enrollment prior to the first class session.
