Framing for the artist is designed to help artists better understand the tools, materials and techniques when framing their original 2 D paper art; drawing, printed, photography, pastel, watercolor, etc. In addition to a brief history of framing and tips for measuring Christine brings in an assortment of tools that are used for framing as well as samples of mat, backing, glass and mounting materials. This class is not just for those wanting to do it themselves, but also for the person who wants to have a better understanding of what to look for or questions to ask for when using a local frame business.
