ID: A collage of three figure drawings. The left-most picture is a detailed figure drawing of a woman facing away from the artist's point of view, sitting down on a cushion and hugging a knee to her chest. The picture in the center is simple and only lines, and depicts a woman standing up facing the right with her arms above her head and her elbows bent. The right is a detailed drawing of a woman laying down with a stomach over her arm. END ID.
    Description

    Ages 18+

Each Wednesday, CTAC-Petoskey offers drop-in figure drawing sessions for $15.
    Pre-register online or sign-up onsite.

*Occasionally sessions may be canceled. Check online for updates before dropping in.*

Artists of all skill levels are invited to join us for open figure drawing.

Drawing from life develops your skills in observation, gesture, measuring/proportion, light/shadow, and rendering form.

This session is held jointly with NCMC's figure drawing class. The class is instructed and facilitated by NCMC faculty. CTAC students may drop-in and take advantage of the facilitated drawing session.

The session will begin with gestures and short poses and progress to longer drawings. Beginners and experienced drawers are welcome. Bring your own drawing supplies (newsprint pad, drawing paper, graphite pencils, charcoal, conté crayon, etc.). Easels are provided.

School of Ballet students are asked to make up the missed class in an alternate session approved by their instructor.

We are unable to offer refunds or make-up sessions for classes missed due to student absence.

    Minimum Enrollment
Crooked Tree Arts Center reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet its minimum student enrollment prior to the first class session. If a class is cancelled by CTAC for lack of enrollment, CTAC will offer a full refund to the student in the manner in which tuition was paid. (Cash payments will be refunded by check.)
