Writer and art critic Lynn Crawford is the author of Solow, Blow, Fortification Resort, Simply Separate People, and Simply Separate People, Two. Her latest novel is Shankus & Kitto: A Saga. Her work appears in various anthologies (Oulipo Compendium, Fetish, Brooklyn Rail, and Fence) and journals (Art in America, Hyperallergic, McSweeney’s, Bookforum, etc.). A 2010 Kresge Literary Arts Fellow and 2016 Rauschenberg Writing Fellow, and a founding board member of Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD), Crawford lives with her family north of Detroit and spends her summers in Bay View.
