Art and fashion are increasingly intertwined...whether it is artists working intrinsically from the soul or with designers on collaborations. Fashion and art have always had a relationship, sometimes a ‘love affair.’ The result of this passion brings to us what is mesmerizing and pleasing to the eye. The Blurred Line of Fashion and Art marries examples of exquisite couture designed and fabricated by Sis Fisher with works of art created by Cynthia Rutherford, both of which yield an understanding of the connoisseurship, intelligence, discipline, creativity, and originality that predicate the seemingly effortless effects of memorable style, ‘Blurred Lines’.

On Thursday, August 2 at 10:00 AM, Sis Fisher’s daughter, Elise Fisher Hayes, will reflect on the imagery constructed by fashion and art and how this non-verbal language of the mediums invigorates dialogue, opens perceptions and stimulates the senses.
