Two works on loan from Grand Valley State University by American Impressionist, Mathias J. Alten (1871-1938), will be on display June 18 and 19. Joel Zwart, Curator of Exhibitions at GVSU, will give a talk about the historical significance of Alten's work, an artist often referred to as the "Dean of Michigan Painters."
